2017 Scholarship Materials Online December 1st!

Coming on December 1st!

We’re all hard at work putting all the pieces together for another great year at the Warren Cherry Scholarship Fund.  Last year, we awarded $36,000 to 18 Cherry Scholars and we hope to do even better in 2017.

Submitting your application online will be easier than ever with the addition of a feature that will allow your teachers and mentors to submit their recommendation letters right on the WCSF website.

All the materials you need will be available online Thursday, December 1, 2016.   The deadline for submissions is March 13, 2017 – but it’s never too early to start thinking about the help we’re anxious to provide to worthy ETHS graduates.  Remember, too, that you need not be a recent ETHS grad – we love late bloomers and lifetime learners.

He liked to inspire his students by asking, “Are you going to be one of my superstars?” because he saw potential in every one of them.  And while his all-too-short life ended years ago, his legacy lives on in the scholarship fund that honors the impact he had on generations of ETHS students. By participating in these events, you can be a Warren Cherry Superstar, making a difference in the lives of motivated ETHS students whose dream it is to pursue a degree in education or youth service. Your support really does make a difference.
