Here’s a letter we received recently from Cherry Scholar Anamaria Rosales:
“I hope all is well! I just want to thank you one more time for being flexible and allowing me to use my Cherry scholarship toward study abroad this summer. I greatly appreciate all of the support that everyone who is a part of the Cherry Scholarship Fund has given me these past three years. You all have really inspired me to be the best student, educator, and person that I can be. I attached a few pictures from my trip to Chile to this email. My trip would not have been possible without your support!”
Three-time Cherry award winner Anamaria (Evanston Scholars) is studying early childhood education with a concentration in Spanish at the University of Illinois. She is a member of La Colectiva Mentorship Program, Epsilon Delta Professional Teaching Organization and the Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, where she is academic chair. Anamaria wants to come back to Evanston and teach and we hope that she does!
